Sam Dalrymple is a writer and historian passionate about South Asian history and storytelling. He is the co-founder of Project Dastaan, a peace-building initiative that reconnects survivors of the 1947 Partition with their ancestral homes and communities through digital technology and virtual reality. A graduate of the University of Oxford, Sam has worked extensively on projects that merge oral histories with new media, ensuring that personal memories are preserved and shared across generations. His forthcoming book, Five Partitions, traces the many lines that divided South Asia beyond 1947, offering fresh perspectives on identity, migration, and belonging. With roots in both scholarship and activism, Sam Dalrymple continues to build bridges between past and present, reminding us of the enduring power of memory and dialogue.
