Preeti Gill is a literary agent, editor, and cultural curator with over two decades of experience championing South Asian writing, especially voices from the Northeast of India and by women authors. As an editor, she has worked on pathbreaking anthologies such as Shadow Lines: Writings from Northeast India, opening up regional literatures to national and international audiences. She is also the founder of Majha House, a literary and cultural hub in Amritsar that has become a space for dialogue, performance, and community engagement. Preeti has been closely associated with literary festivals across India, curating conversations that foreground diversity, gender, and the importance of translation. Through her editorial, curatorial, and advocacy work, she continues to shape a more inclusive literary landscape where multiple languages and identities find their place.
