Leena Yadav is an acclaimed filmmaker and screenwriter whose work has consistently pushed boundaries in Indian cinema. Known for her fearless storytelling and ability to explore complex human relationships, she has directed films such as Parched, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and went on to win global recognition for its bold portrayal of women’s lives in rural India. Her diverse filmography includes Teen Patti, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley, and Rajma Chawal, a Netflix original that highlighted generational shifts in urban India. Leena’s films are noted for their sensitivity, visual richness, and commitment to voices often underrepresented on screen. Moving between independent cinema and mainstream platforms, she continues to craft stories that resonate deeply with audiences both in India and around the world.
